Gone are the days of static target dummies waiting to be farmed. We have completely overhauled the neural architecture of Eldoria. Enemies now think, react, and hunt. Welcome to the "Brain" System.
1. The "Brain" System
Every NPC is now driven by a modular "Brain" assigned via our database. This isn't just simple aggro anymore:
- TrashMob Brain: Standard enemies mixing spells and melee seamlessly.
- Passive Brain: Civilians and wildlife that react to threats by fleeing or patrolling peacefully.
- Boss Brains: Complex scripts with phases. Example: The Green Ghoul now triggers panic phases and self-healing protocols when dropping below 40% HP.
2. Smart Resource Management
Enemies now play by the same rules you do. They have actual Mana and Energy pools. They will regenerate resources mid-combat based on their level, with Energy-users recovering significantly faster for relentless assaults.
3. Next-Gen Pathfinding
We've eliminated "floating" mobs. With our new Ground Snapping tech, the server calculates precise terrain height between waypoints. Whether it's a steep hill or a jagged cliff, NPCs walk on the ground, not through it. Plus, city guards now follow complex patrol routes, making settlements feel truly alive.
4. Immersive Events & 3D Audio
Combat is visceral. Bosses now feature On-Pull and On-Death events, shouting unique lines or triggering distinct animations when engaged. Coupled with our new 3D Spatial Audio, you'll hear exactly where that fireball is coming from before it hits you.
Under the Hood: Tick Culling
To ensure massive battles don't melt the servers, we've introduced a smart Culling System. NPCs far from players enter a "Sleep Mode" to save CPU cycles, while essential timers (Respawns, Cooldowns) continue in the background. This allows for thousands of active entities without compromising performance.
